I’m focusing on messages that I’ve seen on Tumblr that put down skinny girls, such as one that I saw that said “Men like meat on their girls, bones are for dogs” (something along those lines). I think “real women have curves” is better, and it’s great about encouraging women of all shapes to feel okay in their skin, but it’s unnecessary and wrong to have to put down skinny girls in the process :)

This is a reply to those posts that say things like “real women have curves!” etc. Not having curves doesn’t make you any less of a real woman.
Note: I am not trying to imply that HAVING curves makes you less of a real woman either…

i’m no where NEAR being skinny but i couldn’t agree more. everyBODY is beautiful. you are no less a “real woman” because you’re skinny and no less a “real woman” because you’re bigger.
exactly, ive never been curvy or large ive always been thin and small. i hated seeing all over tumblr that men like curvy girls, and being bigger is better and blah blah blah. well alright, now your putting down girls who arent big. cant we just see the beauty in every person? without putting a fucking label on them? im beautiful, i just so happen to be thin. youre beautiful, you just so happen to be curvy. period.
